The Navy spoke about changes in the work of the maritime corridor

Over the past six months, it has been possible to expand the capacity of the Ukrainian maritime corridor. In particular, there is no danger of remote mining.

“First, we were able to expand our capabilities in our grain corridor. That is, in this sense, stability has become more. And the last danger that was available to the Russians is remote mining from aircraft. This danger was eliminated in the same way,” said the spokesman of the Naval Forces, Dmytro Pletenchuk, on the We-Ukraine channel.

According to him, the withdrawal of the Russian fleet to Novorossiysk is also among the main achievements of Ukraine. At the same time, the change of the Russian commander of the Azov-Black Sea region is significant.

“That is, they are trying to find some new solutions, new tactics. But in principle, the picture remains unchanged. The air component has been strengthened as a replacement for the sea component in the Azov-Black Sea region. It is noticeable. And these are the events of the last six months. Currently, they have already signed that they can only be present in the Black Sea in the form of submarines,” Dmytro Pletenchuk emphasized.

The spokesman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that Ukraine will continue to use new weapons systems on the territory of Crimea and this will affect the further course of events.

It will be recalled that at the end of June it became known that Sea Baby naval drones hit four Russian ships in Crimea thanks to remote mining.
