The operation of a combat kayak was tested in the Kyiv region

In the Kyiv region, tests of the “Poloz-M16” combat kayak, which is equipped with an electric motor and a grenade launcher, were conducted.

A two-seater kayak can carry 480 kg, ArmiyaInform reports. A 40 mm UAG-40 grenade launcher is located on the bow of the kayak. The target shooting range reaches 1.5 km, and the target is hit at a distance of more than 2 km.

The kayak also has a small cooking stove so that the defenders can carry out tasks for several weeks or one month. If necessary, a wounded person can be placed in a water vehicle.

“Also, a kayak can carry ammunition or drones and then launch them from the reeds wherever needed. There are two compartments here for sailors, and three more compartments that can be used for one more passenger, as well as for weapons, or you can even put a dog in it,” said one of the servicemen who tested the Ukrainian development.
