The peace formula provides for safe navigation in the Black Sea, — Zelenskyy
One of the tangible results of the implementation of the Ukrainian peace formula should be free and safe navigation in the Black Sea.
This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the regional meeting of the Congress of local and regional authorities, the Office of the President reports.
According to him, last year Ukraine pushed Russian ships away from shipping lanes in the Black Sea and showed that export corridors work without Russian influence and there is no need to look for other routes and ports for food exports.
“We have, for example, the Peace Formula. We will resolve the issue of the first summit at the level of leaders. And we want to come out with a result, in particular – a free and safe Black Sea. Exactly as prescribed by the Peace Formula. Everyone will enter the Black Sea: oversized, oversized ships, any volume. There will be free navigation,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.

We will remind, in paragraph 2 of the Peace Formula “Food Security” it is stated that the issue of food security must be deweaponized. In particular, it is necessary to ensure free, full and safe navigation in the Black and Azov seas, restore Ukraine’s sovereign control over Ukrainian ports, create new ports and expand the range of Ukrainian goods transported by sea.
As previously reported by USM, during half a year of operation of the Ukrainian maritime corridor from the ports of Great Odesa, 661 ships exported more than 20 million tons of cargo to 32 countries of the world.
