The prices of sunflower oil have increased in the portion of Odesa

During the week, sunflower oil in the ports of Great Odesa increased by about $40/t compared to last week’s prices.

Sunflower prices continue to rise due to strong demand from processors and low supply from producers, Spike Brokers analysts said.

“Agrarians are in no hurry to sell large volumes of oil crops, waiting for even higher prices. Refineries are already willing to pay for sunflower with a base oil content of 46% – $520-$525 excluding VAT with delivery, depending on tonnage. This is at least $10 more than last week’s price,” the report said.

So, sunflower oil in Odesa ports increased by about $40 in a week compared to last week’s prices.

The latest indications of buyers:

• DAP Ukraine (factory) ~500-530$

• DAP Bulgaria (center) ~550-560$

• CIF Bulgaria (port) ~540-550$

Analysts also added that feed wheat prices in the direction of the Danube and Great Odesa ports were decreasing.
