The queue at the entrance to the Sulinsky Canal is gradually decreasing

The queue of ships at the Sulina roadstead is gradually decreasing, but part of the fleet is still waiting to enter the canal since last week.

This was reported by Avalon Shipping Operations Manager Kateryna Kononenko.

According to her, pilots are assigned to ships according to the date of arrival.

Priority during passage is given to tankers, ships with dangerous goods, as well as the fleet heading to Tulcea, Galați and Braila.

Despite the reduction in the queue, delays at the entrance to the Sulina Canal still persist.
