The rate of unloading grain wagons is increasing in the ports of the Odesa region


Over the past week, the daily unloading rate of grain wagons in the ports of Great Odesa has increased significantly.

This was reported by Valerii Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Work of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.

As of August 7, the average daily unloading rate of wagons in the ports of Great Odesa was 954 units per day. Over the past week, this figure has increased by 493 wagons.

At the same time, the number of wagons with grain moving in the direction of the ports of Great Odesa has increased by 1,075 units per day, to 4,484 units. The average daily loading of wagons on the network in the direction of the ports of Great Odesa over the specified period has increased by 595 wagons, to 1,139 wagons per day.

At the same time, the accumulation of grain wagons in the direction of the port of Izmail increased by 42 units per week, to 118. The average daily rate of grain unloading at the port of Izmail is 56 wagons per day, the rate increased by 34 units per week.
