The russians have forbidden ro-ro vessels to pass through the Kerch Strait

The invaders are afraid of a repeated attack on the Crimean bridge, so they have forbidden the passage of a number of ships through the Kerch Strait.

Russia has closed the Kerch Strait, which connects the Azov and Black Seas, to ro-ro and ro-pax vessels, according to the Turkish International Shipping Association.

Due to the ban, the flights of vessels departing from the Turkish ports of Karasu and Samsun to russian ports have been suspended.

Apparently, the occupiers are afraid of a repetition of “cotton” on the Crimean Bridge. Considering the russian version with explosives in the truck, it is not surprising that russian federation forbids the passage of the Kerch Strait to vessels carrying cars.

The “authority” of the annexed peninsula claimed that additional spans on the Crimean Bridge would be installed by December 20. And at the briefing of the president of russian federation, it was noted that work on another roadway will lead to interruption of traffic until March 2023.

In general, the bridge will be repaired soon — not earlier than autumn 2023, according to British intelligence. Of course, if the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not liberate Crimea by that time.
