The Russians spread a fake about the landing of French mercenaries in the port of Odesa

A number of Russian mass media published news about the alleged arrival of French mercenaries on boats to the port.

This is reported by the Center for Combating Disinformation.

In the news, the Russians are spreading a fake story that French mercenaries have arrived at one of the Odessa ports.

According to propagandists, they arrived in three boats and were fully equipped.

“Actually, this is another fake of the enemy as part of the information campaign regarding “French mercenaries in Ukraine”. First, propagandists do not provide any evidence for their claims. “Secondly, the information about three boats, which accommodated more than 60 people in full equipment, looks at least absurd and illogical,” the Center said in a statement.

The messages above contain information regarding 60 french-speaking mercenaries arriving in the Odesa port. Russian propaganda describes them as highly cautios fully equiiped people, who do not contact locals. The propaganda also noted, that they are waiting for “another portion of frog soup”.
