The State Audit Service complains about the port of Reni: what is known

The State Audit Service plans to appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Reconstruction and the Ukrainian State Police Agency due to the fact that its employees are not allowed to the port of Reni for inspection.

As reported by the State Audit Service, the auditors were unable to check the purchases of the Reni branch of the SE “Ukrainian Seaports Authority” for the repair of berth No. 29 for the total amount of UAH 14.3 million.

To do this, they planned to involve divers of the State Emergency Service in order to investigate the scope of the completed works, which were carried out under water.

“Instead, the management of the Reniya branch of SE “USPA” ignored the appeal of the Southern Office of the State Audit Service,” the message reads.

The agency noted that this is not the first such case: earlier, the auditors were unable to carry out planned measures of state financial control at SE “Sea Trade Port “Chornomorsk” and SE “Bilhorod-Dnister Sea Trade Port”.

The USPA has not yet commented on the State Audit Service’s complaint.

Earlier, USM reported that the State Property Fund announced auctions for warehouses in the port of Reni.
