The State Emergency Service neutralized almost a dozen artillery shells from the Second World War on the Danube.

In the evening of July 16, pyrotechnicians neutralized nine artillery shells from the Second World War, the State Emergency Service reported.

Explosive objects on the banks of the Danube were discovered by passers-by, who immediately contacted the Rescue Service.

Specialists removed all ammunition and destroyed it in a specially designated place.

The State Emergency Service urged to be attentive and careful when detecting unknown explosive objects.
