The Ukrainian Navy revealed how many civilian sailors died due to Russian strikes

The spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, reported on the consequences of Russian attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 13 civilian sailors have been killed. This was stated by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a telethon.
In addition, another 38 people were injured as a result of Russian attacks on civilian vessels.
“This is the first time we are officially announcing these figures, but they are important. Because, of course, this is about the level of trust in our “grain corridor”, about the possibilities of civilian shipping,” Pletenchuk said.
Pletenchuk emphasized that civilian sailors have become the targets of Russian attacks on purpose, which confirms Russia’s violation of international norms and laws of war.
The day before, the spokesman for the Navy explained what a ceasefire at sea would mean for Ukraine.
