The Ukrainian shipping company responded to accusations of collaborationism

SK Argo Shipping Company LLC sent a letter to the Ukrainian Institute for the Future (UIF), which accused the company of cooperating with russia.

In a publication dated October 24, the UIF lists several Ukrainian companies whose ships allegedly entered russian ports after February 24.

Among these companies is SK Argo LLC, which is based in Kherson. In its publication, the UIF states that “two tankers (IMO: 9517070, 9517109) of the specified company called at the ports of russian federation 65 times.”

In a letter to the Institute, the company said that it never had and does not have tankers in its fleet, neither in ownership nor in operational management. And the vessels mentioned in the publication, the tankers Titan and Tethys, belong to the russian company “Prime Shipping” (Samara), and therefore have the right to sail under the flag of russian federation.

SC Argo LLC demands that the Ukrainian Future Institute refute the information provided in the publication and issue an official apology. In case of non-fulfilment of the requirement within the next three calendar days, the company will apply to the court with a claim for the protection of business reputation.

According to USM, other Ukrainian shipping companies mentioned in the UIF publication also plan to challenge the information.
