UDS will transport grain from European countries to the port of Constanta
The fleet of “Ukrainian Danube Shipping” will transport agricultural products from the Danube ports of European countries to the Romanian port of Constanta.
Currently, the scope, terms and other conditions of cooperation are being discussed, but the UDS is “confident in the success of this project,” said the deputy general director of the UDS, Vladyslav Belakh.
According to him, direct cooperation with world-class companies was the result of changes that took place in the UDS over the past year and a half, in particular, due to the company’s cooperation with HBIS Group.
Vladyslav Bielakh stressed that the long-term contract for the supply of grain will strengthen the position of the UDS on the Middle Danube. After all, the caravans will be loaded on the way in both directions, which significantly increases the profitability of transportation.
In order not to reduce the supply of freight on the Lower Danube, UDS plans to gradually increase the number of the fleet in operation.
