Ukraine extended the “transport visa-free regime” with Moldova until 2027

Ukrainian and Moldovan carriers will be able to travel without special permits until the end of 2027.

This was reported by the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.

It is noted that the permits apply to both bilateral routes and transit.

“This means: no return to permits, more business opportunities and stable transport connections,” the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories noted.

Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized that over the past year, trade turnover between Ukraine and Moldova increased by 12% and amounted to about $ 1.1 billion.

“The liberalization of road transport between our countries plays a major role in this, because permit-free travel makes it possible to deliver goods without restrictions during transportation,” Kuleba added.

Earlier, USM reported that Moldova and Ukraine discussed the transit of wagons via the ferry to Batumi.
