Ukraine increased exports to the EU by 6%
Exports from Ukraine to the EU increased by 6% compared to the pre-war period.
Trade liberalization, which became possible thanks to the reforms implemented in Ukraine even before the February invasion, became a “lifeline” for the survival of Ukrainian business.
Ukraine was able to quickly reorient its capacities and products, which cannot be sold on the domestic market, to the European Union.
The reorientation led to the fact that in the conditions of a full-scale war, the export of products to the EU increased by 6%, compared to 2021. Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna told about it.
She emphasized that the increase in exports is a unique story that confirms that “European integration is now about survival.”
