Ukraine studies European practices of port digitalization

An official delegation of Ukraine, led by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Development and Trade Andriy Bratus, visited Estonia on a working visit.

The delegation included Yaroslav Mohylnyi, First Deputy Head of the State Enterprise “USPA”, the state-owned enterprise reported reported.

The focus is on digitalization, automation of logistics, restoration of port infrastructure and international security at sea.

Ukrainian experts visited the ports of Tallinn and Muuga, held meetings with the Estonian Maritime Cluster, the Transport Administration and the Estonian Ministry of Climate.

“The digital management model implemented by Estonia is an example of effective and transparent management of port infrastructure. For Ukraine, which is rebuilding the maritime industry in wartime, this experience is extremely valuable,” said Yaroslav Mohylnyi.

Estonia continues to actively support Ukraine on its path to modernizing port infrastructure and adapting to European standards. This assistance is an important factor not only for the recovery of the economy, but also for strengthening the maritime security of Ukraine.

Recall that at the end of May, the DocPort digital platform was launched in the port of Odesa.
