Ukrainian sailors were warned about another fraud scheme

The ITF received reports from seafarers about a fraudulent scheme by Foster Green Shipping Ltd.
“Foster Green Shipping Ltd offers non-existent jobs. The scheme is that a seafarer receives a job offer, then is asked to contact a visa agency to apply for a visa. After which they ask to pay money,” said the Trade Union of Maritime Transport Workers of Ukraine.
Scammers use a fake website: www.fostergreenshippingltd.com and email addresses [email protected], [email protected].
Seafarers are also advised to contact the Trade Union for a free consultation regarding job offers in order not to encounter fraudsters.
