Ukrainian wheat exports in 2025/26 MY exceeded 12 million tons


Since the beginning of the 2025/26 marketing year, Ukraine has exported almost 32.8 million tons of grain, of which more than 12.2 million tons were wheat.

This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, citing data from the State Customs Service.

In May, the volume of shipments amounted to 2.589 million tons. For comparison, on the same date last marketing year, Ukraine exported 38.183 million tons of grain, of which 2.875 million tons were in May.

The largest share of exports in the current season was formed by corn – 18.594 million tons against 20.471 million tons a year earlier.

Wheat exports amounted to 12.271 million tons, while in the 2024/25 MY this figure was 14.803 million tons.

Ukraine also exported 1.482 million tons of barley and 200 tons of rye.

Flour exports since the beginning of the season are estimated at 56.3 thousand tons, of which 54.8 thousand tons are wheat flour.Earlier, USM reported that Ukraine exported 2.43 million tons of grain in May.
