The volume of average daily unloading of grain in the ports of Great Odesa decreased in a week.

The average daily rate of unloading of wagons with grain in the ports of Great Odesa is 1,274 units — 180 wagons less than a week ago, Rail.insider reports.

The number of wagons with grain moving towards the ports of Great Odesa has increased. Currently, 6,244 wagons are heading to the ports — 32 wagons more than a week ago.

The accumulation of wagons with grain in the direction of the port of Izmail decreased by 22 units to 990 wagons. The average daily rate of unloading wagons with grain at the port is 125 units.

“The increase in unloading in ports is hindered by constant air alarms (the personnel of port operators are forced to stay in bomb shelters) and systematic strikes on energy and port infrastructure. Over the past few days, we have noticed the deterioration of weather conditions (rain), this also interferes with the transshipment of grain cargoes in the port,” said Valerii Tkachev, deputy director of the department of transportation technology and commercial work of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
