Unloading of grain wagons in the ports of Great Odesa continues to grow


As of October 23, the average daily rate of unloading wagons in the ports of the Odesa region was 966 units per day.

This was reported by Valery Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Work of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.

According to him, the average daily rate increased by 268 wagons per week. At the same time, the number of wagons with grain moving in the direction of the specified ports increased more significantly per week – by 1,392 units per day, to 7,058 units.

The average daily load of wagons on the network in the direction of the ports of Greater Odessa also increased during the specified period – by 94 wagons, to 1,046 wagons per day.

At the same time, the number of wagons with grain moving in the direction of the Danube ports decreased by another 31 units per week – to 64 per day. The average daily grain unloading rate as of October 23 was 17 wagons per day, a decrease of 9 units over the week.
