USPA and EU Anti-Corruption Initiative launch tender monitoring tool

The new system allows for automated analysis of tender procedures using risk indicators, filters and control parameters.
This makes it possible to detect potential violations at an early stage, before contracts are concluded or problematic situations arise, the USPA said.
The Administration noted that such an internal “X-ray” of procurement is another step towards preventing corruption risks, increasing transparency and effective use of public funds.
“The risk management system in procurement is an opportunity to see weaknesses before they become a problem. It is also about responsible management of public resources, fair competition and trust in the state enterprise on the part of business, the public and foreign partners,” the company commented.
Today, all USPA procurements are carried out through the Prozorro electronic system in accordance with current legislation. The launch of the risk management system will become an additional level of control and monitoring.
USM previously reported that the USPA is raising over $100 million to implement the most important projects.
