USPA confirmed compliance with the international environmental standard ISO 14001

SE “USPA” successfully passed the recertification audit of the environmental management system for compliance with the international ISO standard.
The audit was carried out by the Ukrainian office of the international certification body Bureau Veritas, the АМПУ USPA reported.
The results of the audit confirmed the effectiveness of the environmental management system and the compliance of the enterprise’s activities with international requirements in the field of environmental protection.
The USPA’s environmental management system covers the activities of the management apparatus and branches of the enterprise, in particular – the issues of environmental risk control, pollution prevention and compliance with environmental legislation.
“For USPA, confirmation of compliance with international environmental standards is not a formality, but an important part of the systematic work of the enterprise. We continue to implement modern approaches to management that meet international requirements and principles of sustainable development,” commented the head of SE “USPA” Mykola Kravchuk.
Earlier, USM reported that Ukrainian ports have processed 35 million tons of cargo since the beginning of the year.
