USPA donated a crew boat to the Naval Forces of Ukraine


The “Aist” launch crew boat was enrolled in the Ukrainian Navy. The watercraft was taken over by the Naval Base in Berdyansk.

According to the Militarny Portal, the “Aist” launch crew boat, which was built in 1990, was enrolled in the Ukrainian Navy. A passenger boat “Dmitry Chubar”, which was transferred to the Ukrainian military earlier, was also included in the Navy with him.

The “Dmitry Chubar” auxiliary passenger boat was built in 1985 at the “Krasniy Moryak” shipyard in Rostov-on-Don. The purpose of the boat is delivery of ship’s crews, workers with tools and the provision of ships in the roads.

Together with the passenger boat, all the property on it, including life rafts, an emergency radio equipment  and radio stations, as well as the ICOM maritime radar station, was transferred at the disposal of the Naval Forces of Ukraine. The boat has a crew of three people. Passenger capacity – 70 passengers .

Therefore, the Vostok Naval Base was replenished with two boats “Aist” and “Dmitry Chubar”, which were previously at the disposal of the Berdyansk branch of the USPA.
