USPA has identified a supplier of a tugboat for work on the Danube

The USPA has identified the supplier of a new tugboat-pushboat for operation on the Danube following the results of an international procurement within the framework of the RELINC project jointly with the World Bank.
The winner of the tender was the company SC SEVERNAV S.A. (Romania), the USPA reported.
The contract was signed in November 2025, and the delivery of the vessel is expected in early 2027.
International experts and consultants were involved in the procurement process, who accompanied all stages – from the preparation of tender documentation to the conclusion of the contract. All procedures were carried out through the Prozorro system and in accordance with the World Bank procurement rules.
The USPA emphasized that the partnership with the World Bank within the framework of the RELINC project is an example of effective international cooperation that contributes to the restoration of Ukraine’s critical transport infrastructure, supports the sustainable development of the Danube region, and increases the resilience of the country’s logistics system.
The purchase was made within the framework of Component E “Expanding the Scale of Critical Danube Logistics Chains” under the RELINK project, which is implemented by the State Enterprise “USPA” and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development with grant funding from the Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Support, Recovery, Reconstruction and Reform of Ukraine.
Earlier, USM reported that strengthening the security of the seaport was discussed in Odesa.
