Vessel with Ukrainian seafarers disabled in Aegean Sea

Ro-ro vessel HODZI disabled in Aegean Sea due to mechanical failure.

This happened in the early morning of September 29th, north of the Greek island of Andros. She drifted for seven hours and then anchored near the island of Andros to avoid grounding, Fleetmon writes.

A ro-ro vessel with a Ukrainian-Turkish crew was en-route from Gemlik (Turkey) to Sfax (Tunisia).

HODZI, built in 1988, flies the Panama flag. As of 2013, it was called DIVIO and flew under the flag of Malta.
