Zelenskyy and Duda will discuss grain imports at a meeting in New York

The leaders of the countries plan to discuss the issue of the “grain embargo”.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Polish President Andrzej Duda are scheduled to meet in New York. In particular, the leaders of the countries will discuss the import of Ukrainian agricultural products, President Duda’s office writes in X (formerly – Twitter).

Andrzej Duda, in a comment for the Polish publication PAP, emphasized that Warsaw will defend its interests in the issue of grain import and sale.

“The fact that it (Ukrainian grain, – ed.) is sold in Poland is absolutely not in our interests, it is not in the interests of our farmers. We must protect our market and we will do it, trying to help Ukraine,” said the Polish president.

We will remind you that Poland plans to extend the ban on the import of Ukrainian grain regardless of the decision of the European Commission.

As previously reported by USM, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Ukraine will submit Poland to arbitration at the World Trade Organization over the grain embargo.
