Zelenskyy imposes sanctions on 29 ships transporting weapons for Russia

The President of Ukraine signed decrees on the application of sanctions against sea vessels that are part of the shadow military-logistical fleet of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Thus, one of the sanctions packages included 29 civilian merchant vessels that are involved in the transportation of goods for the military needs of the Russian Federation.

These vessels are involved in the regular transportation of large volumes of weapons, ammunition, military equipment and personnel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Most of them are under sanctions of the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom. Regarding the others, Ukraine will work with partners to synchronize sanctions.

USM reviewed the list of sanctioned vessels. Thus, Ukraine has imposed restrictions against the vessels AMBAL, LAVRENTIY, PIZHMA, SPARTA, SPARTA II, SPARTA IV, URSA MAJOR, MARIA E, RASUL GAMZATOV, LADY D, BALTIC LEADER, GASRET ALIEV, VALENTIN EMIROV, KOMPOZITOR RAKHMANINOV, MAIA-1, OLGA, LADY MARIIA, PORT OLYA-1, PORT OLYA-2, PORT OLYA-3, PORT OLYA-4, GENRIKH GASANOV, SONA, BORIS KUSTODIEV, INDA, SAPFIR, KOMPOZITOR ELZA IBRAGIMOVA, ASKAR-SARYDZHA, SENATOR.

Earlier, USM reported that Ukraine is forming a system to counter the shadow grain fleet of the Russian Federation.
