Zelenskyy: Russia uses tankers to launch drones over EU countries

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia is using tankers to launch drones over European countries.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his address on Sunday, September 28.
“There is now intelligence information that the Russians are using tankers to launch and control drones that are launched against European countries,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The President added that this week Ukraine expects Europe to make decisions on pressure on the Russian Federation. At least there should be a 19th package of sanctions.
“It is especially important that the sanctions hit Russia’s energy trade and the entire infrastructure of the tanker fleet,” the head of state emphasized.
As previously reported by USM, Denmark suspects Russian vessels of launching drones that flew over Copenhagen – the Russian cargo ship Astrol 1, the Benin-flagged tanker Pushpa, and the cargo ship “Oslo Carrier 3”.
