USPA and Ukrvodshlyakh have new managers
The Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kubrakov, with the approval of the Government, appointed the heads of USPA and “Ukrvodshlyakh”.
Thus, the “Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration” was headed by the former head of “Ukrvodshlyakh” Yury Lytvyn, who replaced Oleksiy Vostrikov in this position, who headed the administration from June 2022.
The MIU noted that in this position, Lytvyn will focus on increasing the efficiency of the Danube port cluster, which is currently a key alternative route for export-import logistics. In addition, it plans to attract investments in the port industry.
“Among the priorities is also ensuring the stable operation of the “Grain Initiative” and ensuring the readiness of ports for the restoration of free commercial shipping,” the ministry noted.
Yurii Lytvyn will be replaced as the head of SE “Ukrvodshlyakh” by Yurii Pushenko, who was previously the deputy director for economic issues.
“He will continue work on consolidation of the functions of the enterprise, restoration of the fleet, reorganization of the River Information Service and implementation of European standards on inland water transport. Its separate focus will be attracting investments in the development of river transport and interaction with partners,” the MIU summarized.
