During the week, 18 ships left Ukraine through the “grain corridor”.

Within the framework of the Black Sea grain initiative, 18 ships left the ports of Great Odesa during the week.

In total, the ships exported half a million tons of grain and other food products, the Command of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports.

“The Navy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, together with its comrades in the groups, is making every effort to ensure shipping to overcome the food crisis,” the message says.

The Navy noted that in a week, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the passage of the Kerch-Yenikal Strait was carried out:

• to the Sea of Azov – 171 vessels, of which 40 were moving from the Bosphorus Strait;

• to the Black Sea – 158 vessels, of which 43 continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait.

Russia continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS) on civilian vessels in the waters of the Sea of Azov.
