Import of the goods exceeded export by 7 billion in the first 4 months of the year
In January-April 2023, Ukraine exported goods worth 13.3 billion dollars.
Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has exported goods worth $13.3 billion, the press center of the State Customs Service of Ukraine reports. The negative trade balance reached $7 billion.
The most exported since the beginning of the year:
• food products — $8.5 billion;
• metals and products from them — $1.3 billion;
• machines and equipment — $1 billion.
During customs clearance of exports, the budget received 356.4 million hryvnias. Ukraine supplied the most products to Poland — $1.9 billion, Romania — $1.33 billion, and China — $1.3 billion.
At the same time, imports amounted to 20.3 billion dollars. Ukraine imported the most goods from China — $3.2 billion, Poland — $2.1 billion, and Turkey — $1.5 billion.
Taxable imports amounted to $16.2 billion, or 80% of the total volume of imported goods. The tax burden on 1 kg of taxable imports is $0.45/kg. This indicator is 57% higher than for the same period in 2022.
