The Russians themselves recorded the fact of falsification of AIS data on ships in Mariupol

The Russians accidentally demonstrated how they falsify AIS data on ships in Mariupol that are involved in stealing Ukrainian products.

According to the video and photos released by the Russians, the ship “Mezhdurechensk” is in Mariupol port. It was this vessel that was used for the first theft of grain, said Petro Andryushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol.

At the same time, according to AIS, the ship is in Rostov.

This is the first case of real fixation of forgery of navigational identification data of Russians on civilian vessels in Mariupol involved in looting.

According to Andryushchenko, this case is important because usually Russians simply turn off identification systems when approaching Mariupol. Then the vessel simply “disappears” during unloading/loading.
