Ukraine is preparing new projects on the Danube to improve the export of agricultural products

Two logistics projects are being developed in Odesa, which will improve the export of Ukrainian grain.

Ukraine is developing alternative ways of exporting agricultural products to EU countries and other markets through Europe. Thus, the Agency for Regional Development of the Odesa Region proposed the implementation of two large-scale projects:

In particular, there are plans to create a bridge over the Danube between Orlivka in Ukraine and Isakcea in Romania. According to experts, this will allow Ukraine’s logistics routes to be integrated into the trans-European transport network, as well as strengthen economic cooperation with neighboring countries.

Specialists also propose to build a new Izmail-Reni railway section. The project aims to increase the cargo turnover of the port of Reni and reduce the costs of carriers for the transportation of goods.

The agency will implement the projects together with the Service for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of the Odesa Region.
