Ukrainian border guards were trained on boats in the USA

The Maritime Guard of the State Border Service of Ukraine underwent training in the United States of America on the boats “Fearless” and “Defiant”.

Ukrainian servicemen were taught how to correctly and effectively operate small patrol boats. During the training, they adopted the experience of their American colleagues and learned some secrets of managing US Coast Guard boats.

The training lasted for 10 days in the American state of Louisiana at the production facilities of the company that manufactures metal sharks – “Metal Shark”.

Boats are characterized by high maneuverability and can develop quite high speed. The State Border Guard Service also noted their slowness.
