Danilov: the safest option for Russia is the independent destruction of its fleet

The Secretary of the National Security Council commented on the recent increase in explosions at Russian military facilities in Crimea.

The Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation has only two options for the future – voluntary or forced liquidation. Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security Council announced this on his Facebook page.

“Glorious Russian military reflexes — the destruction of one’s own fleet when the enemy approaches — should have a long history and a tradition of succession,” wrote Danilov.

Otherwise, the Armed Forces will cut the Black Sea Fleet “according to the principle of salami”, the official assured.
