The movement of ships along the maritime corridor was temporarily stopped
Today, October 26, there will be no movement of vessels through the temporary corridor.
In the evening of October 25, USPA sent out a message that “there will be no movement of ships through the corridor for entry and exit on October 26, 2023.”
There has been no movement of ships for the last two days because the military does not approve it. The military explains this as an “explosive threat” after the activation of Russian aviation.
For her part, the spokeswoman of the Joint Coordination Center of the Operational Command “Pivden” Nataliya Humenyuk reported that Russian tactical aviation has become more active in the area of the maritime trade route over the Black Sea.
“For several days, no approach flights of Russian planes were observed in the area of sea transport routes. However, today they stepped up and dropped four explosive devices,” Humenyuk said.
According to the spokeswoman, Ukraine continues to “ensure the safety of the humanitarian corridor used by ships from different countries of the world.”
At the same time, the actions of the Russian Federation testify to attempts to discredit the Defense Forces of Ukraine, as well as to prevent the movement of ships.
