UZ was unable to sell grain trucks in the direction of Poland
At the Dutch auction from Ukrzaliznytsia, traders hired only grain trucks with a rearrangement of carts and transfer to Romania.
UZ held an auction on November 3 on the Prozorro.Prodazhi service. Grain traders were offered 10 lots of 28 wagons to Romania (via Vadul-Siret and Dyakovo stations) and 10 lots of 38 grain trucks to Poland (via Jagodyn and Mostyska II stations), reports Rail.insider.
Under the terms of the auction, wagons can be loaded from November 9 to December 31. The rate started from UAH 1,000 per day. During the auction, it could drop to UAH 210 per day. It was possible to win a shipment only in the direction of Romania. It was not possible to realize grain trucks with transfer to Poland.
During the auction, more than 50% of bids exceeded the starting price. In general, they ranged from UAH 860 to UAH 1,060 per day. Among the winners: LLC “Grainsvard”, LLC “Agroterminal Konstrakshin” and PJSC “Western Trade and Industry House”.
