The fire on the Russian nuclear ship happened on the Christmas eve

On the territory of the “Atomflot” berth in Murmansk, the only Russian nuclear light locomotive caught fire. Fires were given an increased rank.
In the evening of December 24, a fire broke out on the nuclear icebreaker transport ship “Sevmorput”. This was reported to the Ministry of Emergencies of the Murmansk region. The ship was at the berth of “Atomflot” in Murmansk.
The ignition happened in one of the cabins. The area of the fire was 30 square meters. m. The fire was given an elevated rank. The reasons for the incident are unknown.
It should be noted that “Sevmorput” is the only icebreaker and transport ship with a nuclear installation in the Russian Federation. The power of the reactor reaches 29 MW. The ship was launched on December 31, 1988.
