During the year, Ukrainian forces carried out 180 attacks on facilities in Crimea and Russian ships

In 2023, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out no less than 184 attacks on objects on the territory of the occupied Crimea and ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
Such data for January-December 2023 was published by Andriy Klymenko, head of the Monitoring Group of the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies.
In particular, according to him, the Defense Forces carried out no less than 45 attacks on objects in Sevastopol, no less than 23 attacks on ships of the Black Sea Fleet at sea.
“There were at least 33 attacks in the Western Crimea, at least 21 in the Dzhankoy district, at least 15 in the Feodosia region, and at least 4 at the Kerch bridge,” Andrii Klymenko notes.
The largest number of attacks was recorded: in July 2023 – 21, in August – 30, in September – 31, in June and October – 18 attacks each.
We will remind you that at the end of December last year, Ukrainian pilots shot down the large landing ship “Novocherkassk” in Feodosia.
As previously reported by USM, 2023 was also the anniversary of the sinking of the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the missile cruiser “Moskva”.
