The Ministry of Agriculture reacted to the destruction of Ukrainian grain on the Polish border
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy condemned the deliberate destruction of Ukrainian grain by Polish protesters.
According to the statement of the department’s press service, this case has nothing to do with peaceful protests.
“We are closely monitoring the progress of the investigation into this incident, we expect the culprits to be quickly identified and punished. We understand when Polish farmers defend their interests in a civilized way. But this case of destruction of Ukrainian wheat has nothing to do with peaceful protests either from a legal or a moral point of view,” the statement reads.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy also recalled the conditions under which Ukrainian farmers are currently working.
“For two years since the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian farmers have been working under constant enemy fire and suffering huge losses. They obtain this grain with great difficulty and sometimes at the cost of their lives,” the ministry said.
Summarizing, the department invited Polish colleagues to see how 4 million small farmers work in Ukraine.
As previously reported by USM, the Polish police are investigating the incident with Ukrainian grain, which Polish protesters dumped from trucks onto the road.
