30 million tons of goods have already been sent through the maritime corridor
Ukraine exports products to at least 38 countries of the world from Odesa region seaports.
Since the beginning of the Ukrainian sea corridor, more than 30 million tons of cargo have been shipped from the ports of Great Odesa. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Reconstruction.
The volume of Black Sea exports increased significantly from December to February. Currently, Ukraine exports products from the ports of Great Odesa to at least 38 countries.
Cargo turnover in the ports of the Danube cluster also increased significantly. During February alone, about 2 million tons of cargo of various nomenclature were transshipped there.
“Today, the enemy cannot stop our exports and is therefore trying to destroy the port infrastructure. The figures speak for themselves – since July 2023, the enemy has used more than 880 kamikaze drones and more than 170 missiles, – said Minister of Reconstruction of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov. — Despite the war, our country remains one of the world’s largest exporters of agricultural products and a guarantor of global food security. Protection of Ukrainian ports equals protection of millions of people from hunger.”
Recently, USM wrote that nearly 1,500 wagons of grain are shipped to the ports of Great Odesa every day.
Also, the presidents of Ukraine and Turkey will soon discuss the safety of civil shipping in the Black Sea.
