A new terminal was built on the Romanian-Ukrainian border
Investments in the construction of the project amounted to about 10 million euros.
In the Romanian village of Dorneşti on the border with Ukraine, a new transshipment terminal has started operations. The design capacity of the infrastructure project reaches 3 million tons, Latifundist writes.
They wanted to open the terminal in February. The new complex will allow transportation of 240,000 tons of agricultural products per month. This will help significantly simplify the movement of Ukrainian cargo to the port of Constanta.
The terminal is equipped with a wagon loading station (128 m long) and an unloading station (120 m long), which allow simultaneous processing of 8 wagons.
Also recently, USM wrote that a new checkpoint “Bila Tserkva – Sighetu Marmatiei” was opened on the Ukrainian-Romanian border.
