Egypt ordered 2 batches of Ukrainian wheat
The supply of agricultural products from Ukraine is planned for the period from May 20 to 30 this year.
Egypt contracted 2 shipments of wheat from Ukraine for 60,000 tons each. Ukrainian grain was purchased at a tender on April 16 from Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC), reports Latifundist.
Thus, the General Authority for the Supply of Commodities of Egypt (GASC) purchased the first batch of grain for $220/t FOB ($255.35/t C&F) and the second for $221.5/t FOB ($256.6/t C&F).
Wheat deliveries are planned for the period from May 20 to 30. It is reported that wheat of Russian, French and Bulgarian origin was also among the offers at the tender. At the same time, Ukrainian grain was the cheapest.
USM recently wrote that since the beginning of April, Ukraine exported 3.5 million tons of cargo by sea.
