Egypt purchased Ukrainian wheat at a tender and refused Russian wheat


Egypt purchased 120,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat at a tender. The country refused grain of Russian origin.

GASC, Egypt’s state procurement agency, has tendered 470,000 tons of wheat of various origins, Latifundist reports.

Of them, 120,000 tons are wheat from Ukraine. It will be shipped by “Nibulon” and LDC at prices of $301.25/ton C&F and $302.95/ton C&F, respectively.

There were offers of Russian wheat at the tender, which cost less, but GASC did not accept any of them.
