Ukraine will receive new patrol boats from the USA

Today, the Pentagon announced a $225 million military aid package to Ukraine.

This is stated on the website of the US Ministry of Defense.

US President Joe Biden announced the new aid package on Friday, June 7, during negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

In particular, the composition included coastal and river patrol boats.

Currently, details about the number and types of boats are not disclosed.

“The package will provide Ukraine with additional opportunities to cover urgent needs on the battlefield, including air defense, artillery systems and ammunition, armored vehicles and anti-tank weapons. It will be provided under the PDA presidential program,” the message said.
