Faleevska Street, where the history of “Nibulon” began, will be renamed in honor of the Hero of Ukraine, Oleksiy Vadaturskyi.

The majority of surveyed citizens (more than 66% of respondents) voted for the renaming of Faleevska Street in Mykolaiv, the “Nibulon” press service reported.

The street will be renamed in honor of Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyi, who has been the constant general director of the agricultural holding “Nibulon” since 1991.

“During these two months of public hearings, we received a huge amount of support from Mykolaiv residents. Someone came to the office, someone wrote letters, called, someone, having heard about Vadaturskyi Street, did not ask anything else, only sadly uttered “I knew him” and joined the online voting with silent longing,” the company said.

During the final stage of the renaming, the head of Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim has the opportunity to support the city community in the desire to rename the street where the history of “Nibulon” began.

We will remind, the general director of “Nibulon” Oleksiy Vadaturskyi and his wife Raisa were killed during the shelling of Mykolaiv by Russian troops in July 2022.
