The Russian Federation reports an attack by naval drones on Novorossiysk

On the night of Wednesday, July 3, Russian media reported explosions and a fire in the Novorossiysk port area. According to preliminary data, due to the attack of marine drones.

Residents of the city were asked not to go to the sea. At the same time, local residents reported explosions from the side of the port.

So far, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has not commented on the attack by naval drones. Russian media reported on the destruction of two unmanned boats in Novorossiysk and another 10 drones in total within Belgorod, Bryansk and Moscow regions.

We will remind you that Novorossiysk is a port city with access to the Black Sea from the Krasnodar Territory, which became the main base of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russians after a series of successful attacks took place on their ships in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

In general, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are armed with a number of drones with a sufficient range to attack Novorossiysk. In particular, these are Sea Baby (range at least 700 km), Magura V5 (833 km), Toloka drones (TLK-400 – up to 1200 km, TLK-1000 – up to 2000 km).

It will be recalled that earlier the USM reported that the Russians had withdrawn most of the ships from Novorossiysk.
