Land is allocated for an industrial park near the Odesa port
About two hectares of land near the Odesa sea trade port are allocated for an industrial park.
This became known during the Odesa Economic Revival Forum, writes Ukrinform.
The Mayor of Odesa, Gennadiy Trukhanov, noted that currently it is important to attract investments in the development of the city’s economic potential.
First of all, we are talking about the port infrastructure, since Odesa is of strategic importance for global food security.
The city authorities have already identified areas for the development of industrial parks. One of them is located next to the port and is its only development area – you just need to build the infrastructure.
“This is an industrial park and priority development zone. We studied the experience of our European partners, looked and made such a model for our region. We allocate about 2 hectares of land so that businesses can come and see what can be built here. The port has all the conditions for building a business,” said the mayor.
We will remind you that an industrial park will be built on the premises of the UDS ship repair plant. The project of creating a modern Kiliya industrial park was presented at the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) in Berlin.
