Maersk updated tariffs for rail transportation between Constanta and Ukraine

Maersk Ukraine has updated its rates for rail container transportation between the port of Constanta in Romania and Ukrainian terminals.

The company has informed its clients about this.

For import shipments from Constanta to Ternopil and Odessa, the rate is $2,600 per 20-foot dry container and $2,800 per 40-foot container.

For export shipments from Ternopil to Constanta, the rate is $2,200 for both 20- and 40-foot containers.

On the Odesa-Constanta route, the export rate is $2,500 for both types of containers.

The operator of the service for Ternopil is WCT, for Odessa – UGL. The issuance of a T1 document is included in the transportation cost.

The updated rates will be valid until October 31, 2026 inclusive. Maersk emphasized that the service is temporary and will operate until the situation in the region stabilizes.

USM previously reported that Maersk was ceasing operations with the terminal in Boryspil.
