Shmyhal: the Russian Federation exported more than 180,000 tons of grain through the port of Mariupol in 2024

Russian invaders continue to use food as a tool of aggression and blackmail.

Since the beginning of 2024, the invaders have exported more than 180,000 tons of Ukrainian grain through the Mariupol seaport. This was announced announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

The enemy continues to plunder the temporarily occupied territories, using these resources to finance the war of aggression, Shmyhal emphasized.

The Prime Minister noted that Russia’s economic terror will become an important aspect of the work of the special tribunal, which will investigate crimes of aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Previously, USM wrote that the aggressor country earned up to 6 billion dollars from stolen Ukrainian grain.
